The geology of Matera becomes the starting point for the spatial language. Warm stone, softened arch-like relationships and layered interfaces turn the dining room into a quieter, more enveloping place.
Compared with a conventional sushi restaurant, the room unfolds like a landscape narrative, making the movement from entrance to seat part of the experience itself.

Low-saturation material, continuous surfaces and maintainable construction details establish a stable commercial base.
Lighting is treated as a structural tool for circulation and atmosphere, avoiding decoration while strengthening the sense of stay.

At the entrance, a circular planted island sits beneath two oversized drum pendants, backed by a full-height wall of black-and-gold marble diamonds. The scheme rewrites Matera's stone-city memory as a nocturnal display of stone, walking guests past the scenery before they sit.
Each marble diamond is edged with LED strips, so light traces the geometry along the joints; backlit amber and teal glass partitions glow from within, while a golden chainmail curtain drops from the ceiling to filter the bar in warm light.
Dark-green velvet barrel chairs and scalloped banquettes group along the walls, with burgundy marble tables serving larger parties; the planted island and glass screens shape the circulation, turning the walk to the table into a shareable moment.
