On a grey aggregate-stone wall, a band of light traces a glowing rounded arch, and the neon sign floats against dark slim bricks. This 95-square-metre coffee bar offers an alternative to the standing Italian espresso ritual — sitting down and taking time.
The material list is short: ceppo-like stone, dark slim brick, dried reeds, ribbed white boucle upholstery and walnut chair frames. Light seeps from the recessed arch outline, raffia pendants illuminate only the tabletops, and the crazy-paving stone floor keeps reflections low.
Seating comes in two densities: the wall banquette with armchairs handles quick peak-hour visits, while the low tables with pouffes hold longer afternoon stays. The dried-flower wall and round mirror are gathered in one corner, separating the photo stop from the service line.
